What are the dates of the meeting?

The Forum will take place virtually on June 20-24, 2021.

Does the meeting replace ASM Microbe and FEMS2021?

The scientific program and activities planned for ASM Microbe and FEMS2021 in-person meetings will be available in a virtual format under the umbrella of the World Microbe Forum.

Is there a discount for members?

Yes, both ASM and FEMS members will receive discounted registration rates. Registration rates for members and non-members will be available in mid-January 2021.

Will I be able to access both ASM Microbe 2021 and FEMS2021 easily?

Yes, all program content and activities will be presented on one platform with log-in information linked to the registrants’ accounts.

When will the full program be available?

The program will be available in mid-January 2021.

What is the abstract deadline?

The abstract submission site will open in January and close in March. More details will be provided after the New Year.

Will the live sessions be recorded?

The program will be available in both live and recorded formats. All scientific sessions will be available for on-demand viewing.

Will there be opportunities for industry to participate?

Yes, virtual options for exhibiting, advertising and sponsorships will be available in mid-January 2021.
